Battcon- Experience Another Side of The Battery Industry

Visit us at booth #500!

IEEE Expo 2018

(Milwaukee, WI) – Battcon is the largest international stationary battery conference where the best and brightest in the industry come to gather! Eagle Eye Power Solutions will be exhibiting during the Battcon Conference at booth #500 from April 22nd – 24th in Nashville, TN, USA. We are your full power solutions provider serving the telecommunication, data center, utility, motive power and other industries where backup power is critical.

Stop by booth #500 to see a demo of Eagle Eye Power Solution’s newest line of industrial float battery chargers. Our top of the line stationary battery chargers serves the utility, telecommunication, manufacturing, UPS and transportation industries. Our new product line consists of the BC-1000 Industrial Float Battery Charger, BC-2200 Modular Float Battery Charger & Power Supply, and the BC-2500 Modular Float Battery Charger & Power Supply.

In addition to our charger line, our reliable ELM-Series Battery Electrolyte Level Monitor and Sensor will be on display. This patent-pending dual sensor system monitors the electrolyte level and temperature of individual flooded batteries. Utilizing low-cost, easy to install sensors, the system will alarm on low electrolyte level or higher than normal temperature. The ELM-Series battery electrolyte level monitor and sensor is customized to work for any flooded battery system and meets NERC PRC-005-2 requirements.

Furthermore, we are excited to announce two of Eagle Eye’s own, Allen Byrne and George Pedersen, will be presenting at Battcon. Allen Byrne is a 37-year veteran in the battery backup power industry having worked in all aspects of the field. Allen is one of the founders of Battcon and was named “Battery Person of-the-year” by Battcon attendees in 2005. He will be presenting on Tuesday, April 24th at 10:10 A.M. on “Is it Time to Take a Serious Look at Convection Cooled Switched Mode Rectifier/Chargers Again?” Allen will also be presenting on Wednesday, April 25th at 12 P.M. This presentation will review taking specific gravity readings of VLA batteries.

George Pedersen has been immersed in the battery industry for over 40 years, with hands on experience in battery maintenance and testing in four out of seven continents. Before retiring, George was engaged in design, installation, commissioning and operation of communication and secure power systems. George will be presenting at Battcon on Tuesday, April 24th at 10:10 A.M. on “Future Powering Challenges. Is the Industry Ready to Accept Change?”
